These conditions combined with a long evolution in French and American oak barrels produce a full-bodied wine, with deep ruby red color, intense presence of mature red fruit, blackberry and cherry intermixed with toasted
notes but, gentle and balanced, harmonic and smooth, with light notes of vanilla and harmonious palate as well.
Our wine region known as D.O. CARINENA is one of the oldest appelations. Spain created in 1332 and it is homeland of the two grapes known as Gamacha (Grenache) and Cariitena (Carignan) and the white grape Macabeo.
There is a story that tells that in 1773 when the French writer and philosopher Voltaire tasted a wine from Carlitena he exclaimed: "If this wine comes from your land I must admit that the Promised land is very close" This rich, full-bodied, opulent offering will drink well in any occasion.
Rich and generous with beautiful blueberry flavors followed by a unique tangerine note from the Grenache variety. There is a lovely violet reminder on the retronasal. A medium body red with a chewy finish.
Great with a classic French bistro dish such as rabbit and hearty Spanish or Portuguese country cooking.

Raso Tempranillo wine is best known as the dominant grape of red Rioja, Spain's most famous wine. To make a parallel with the most celebrated blended red wine in the world, Red Bordeaux, Tempranillo plays the Cabernet Sauvignon part while the much juicier, fruitier Garnacha plays the role of plumper blending partner Merlot.
Tempranillo provides the framework and ageing ability, together with the predominant flavour, while Garnacha adds weight.
The flavour of Raso Tempranillo is essentially savoury rather than sweet. The characteristic smell has hints of leather but the phrase I use most often to describe it is 'fresh tobacco leaves'. There is something sappy, fresh and vegetal about it, but also something definitively masculine
