For his monuments and his history millennial Rome is one of the cities richest in memories to the world. The 14 April of 753 was founded B.C., according to the tradition, from Romolo and Remo, the twins been born by the love of the god Mars and the vestal Rea Silvia. Abandoned
on the banks of the Tevere, they were saved and adopted by a she-wolf that it became the symbol for excellence of the city of Rome. Today Rome introduces like a metropoli important and dynamics, proud of its prestigious past, with a cosmopolita vocation that always has it
charaterized in the arc of its long history.
We dedicate to this wonderful city this traditional Italian liquor famous worldwide. Its intense perfume of anise is given from the essential oils derived from the steam distillation of star anise seeds, a plant typical of the Mediterranean world, with soothing and aromatic properties,
already known and appreciated in Ancient Rome.
It can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks or to lace coffee. It can be served with one or two toasted coffee beans, so-called “mosca” which, when chewed while drinking, highlight the taste.
Colli del chianti Grappa
Stravecchia Riserva 18 Grappa is the synthesis of our aim to offer to the most refined connoisseurs a distillate of great quality, with a fruity aroma, and a well structured harmonic body. Created by carefully selecting the best grapes of Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet, Garganega which are fermented and wisely distilled, and aged for at least 18 months in wooden barrels from which it takes an amber colour and its refined and elegant bouquet.

This grappa is obtained from selected grape skins from Veneto region.
Grape Skins conservation
The fermentation of virgin grape skins is monitored daily to ensure that it does not exceed 24 degrees centigrade. This process is immediately followed by the distillation stage. A thorough, strict and highly selective analysis identifies the best batches suited to prepare this unique grappa.
Of steam-fired waterbath discontinuous type. In order to properly distil this product,it is essential that the still be monitored so as to prevent that a poorly controlleddistillation at high temperatures jeopardise the end result. Indeed, its finesse and fragrance as well as its fruity bouquet and other aromatic components, are very unstable elements which may deteriorate in the presence of high distillationtemperatures.
As a result, thoroughness and patience are very important factors during thedistillation process.
Amaretto di Caruso is a classic refined liqueur, with a velvety taste and fragrant almond aroma, its original recipe has purportedly been handed down from i generation to generation without change and is currently marketed as Amaretto Liqueur.
It could be served neat, on the rocks, in coffee, in international cocktails. It is also very good with over vanilla, ice-cream and on Italian 'panna cotta" dessert.
